Here you will find a number of guides to support your college essay writing and application process.  Check back as I will be adding to it, with guidance of my own devising as well as guidance by others in the field.

In particular, I would like to give broad credit to Ethan Sawyer, also known as “The College Essay Guy,” for the extensive and excellent resources he has created and that he makes available to students and college counselors alike.  The author of two bestselling books on college essays and the admissions process, Ethan generously shares his knowledge and techniques, making possible a process of personal growth and more effective and compelling college essays for more than a million students a year.
